DVD Release: Gumrah

Bollywood drama about two lovers who are torn apart by unfortunate circumstances.

When Kamla (Nirupa Roy), mother of two and wife to lawyer Ashok (Ashok Kumar) dies, her sister, Meena (Mala Sinha), is left to care for her children. Although Meena is in love with artist Rajendra (Sunil Dutt), her father forces her to marry Ashok (Ashok Kumar).

A year after the marriage, Meena meets Rajendra and they realise they still harbour feelings for one another. They embark on affair but the situation becomes more difficult when Meena learns that Rajendra is also married.
